The Axi MCP connection is a link between your Axi trading accounts and Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. Once connected, you can ask Claude to review your account details, analyze market data, or submit trading instructions on your MT5 account, subject to the permissions you grant and applicable account restrictions — without writing code or installing extra software.
Claude uses artificial intelligence to interpret your requests and generate responses. AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. You should carefully review any information or trading instructions before relying on them.
An active MT5 account. If your account is closed or archived, or you only hold MT4 or Axi trading platform accounts, you can still open the MCP settings page in your Client Portal or Axi mobile app, but you won't be able to connect. A message on the page will confirm that an active (verified or not verified) MT5 account is required. The availability of trading functionality through the connection remains subject to your account's verification status, applicable trading restrictions and Axi's account requirements.
Your own Claude account. You'll need to sign up for Claude yourself at claude.ai.

Not Axi's chatbot: The chatbot on the Axi website and app is a separate support tool from Claude. Clients cannot connect Claude through the Axi chatbot or use the chatbot to establish an MCP connection. To connect an Axi account to Claude, clients must set up the Axi MCP (Model Context Protocol) connection separately through Claude. MCP works with Claude only.
Not an automated trading robot: Claude is not an automated strategy or Expert Advisor (EA). However, depending on the permissions you enable, Claude may submit trading instructions to your MT5 account in response to your requests. If you select "Always allow" for certain actions, Claude may perform those actions without requesting separate confirmation each time. You should carefully review the permissions you grant and understand that AI-generated actions may not always reflect your intended instructions (see article: How do I manage permissions, disconnect, reconnect, or fix Axi MCP connection?).
Not a financial advisor: Claude is an AI assistant, not a licensed financial advisor. It can summarize your account data, provide market quotes, or explain what you are looking at, but nothing it says constitutes a trade recommendation. All trading decisions and financial risks remain entirely yours.

When you connect your Axi MT5 account to Claude, certain account information may be made available to Claude depending on the functionality used and the permissions you grant.
Claude is operated by Anthropic, a third-party provider, and its processing of your information is subject to the applicable privacy terms and policies.
Before connecting, you should review the information and permissions requested, together with Axi's Privacy Policy and Anthropic's Privacy Policy. You can manage or revoke your MCP connection through the available connection settings.
No. Custom connectors, including the Axi MCP, work on Claude's Free plan as well as Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.
Claude Free Plan Note: You can connect Axi as your custom connector on Claude's Free plan at no cost. However, Claude's Free tier only allows one custom connector to be active at a time. If you want to use multiple custom tools simultaneously, you will need to upgrade to a paid Claude plan. (Please note: These plan limits and features are managed directly by Anthropic, not Axi)
